PASQuanS2 Celebrates Women in Quantum Simulation
On International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the PASQuanS2 consortium celebrates the women scientists advancing quantum simulation across Europe.
Our 27-partner consortium is transforming programmable quantum simulation platforms based on atoms and ions. Women physicists, theorists, engineers, and researchers are essential to every aspect of this work, from experimenting with ultracold atoms to exploring industrial applications in drug discovery and materials science.
These women serve as principal investigators, postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, and industry partners. They are pushing experimental boundaries, developing new theoretical frameworks, building precision optical systems, and translating quantum simulation into real-world solutions.
Today we celebrate the women in our consortium and throughout Europe's quantum simulation community. Your work is essential. Your leadership matters. Your presence is opening doors for the next generation.
To young women exploring careers in quantum technologies: your perspectives and talents are needed to shape the future of quantum simulation.
