PASQuanS2.1 Third-Year Meeting and Young Researchers Workshop in Padova

In January 2026, the PASQuanS2.1 consortium gathered in Padova, Italy, for its third-year project meeting, bringing together partners from across Europe to review progress, align on priorities, and plan the next phase of activities.

Over two intensive days, the consortium reviewed achievements from the past year and discussed the path forward. Work package leaders presented updates. The meeting also included a poster session, which offered an informal setting for researchers to share technical progress, challenges, and emerging ideas. Dedicated sessions were held to discuss the upcoming SGA2 proposal and to reflect on the project’s long-term scientific and strategic objectives.

Alongside the consortium meeting, a Young Researchers Workshop was organised to engage early-career scientists working on PASQuanS2.1. The workshop provided a platform for PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers to present their work, exchange ideas, and connect with peers and senior experts in the field of quantum computing and applications. Discussions focused on technical advances, interdisciplinary collaboration, and career development within large-scale European research projects.

The meeting and workshop highlighted the collaborative nature of PASQuanS2.1 and the importance of aligning scientific, technical, and innovation activities across the consortium. With the third project year concluded, partners are now moving forward with the next phase of research, development, and stakeholder engagement.
